Fun Surprise

What perfect timing for such a fun surprise.  Noah always looks forward to soccer practice on Thursday nights, and Josh does too since he gets to go and have lots of time playing with Mike.  But tonight practice was canceled, bummer but there's no game this weekend so it makes sense.  Well there was a note in our mail from Aunt Helen and Uncle Todd with gift cards for the kids.  So sweet to think of them, and they I think were excited because it wasn't their birthday (though it was for their birthdays really I think!)  Anyway, we always eat right at 5 on Thursdays so we can make it to practice - so we had plenty of time after dinner and all headed to Walmart to let them pick their surprise.  Such excited little boys, we walked up and down aisles and there was lots of hard thinking from the boys!  Noah chose a Ben10 wrist watch type thing for his gift, Josh and Addy combined forces for a race track (yes I know she doesn't really mind at this point in life...but she loves to play with their cars, and she loves to hit things and you have to hit the thing at the top to release the cars, so it seemed like it would be enjoyed by all!), Addy also got a pink ball.  Normally we just put their birthday money in their savings accounts - then save for something bigger...which is always wonderful and they are excited about that too of course, but we kind of had to spend these you know?  We came home and the boys made thank you cards to send and then got to play and have lots of fun with some new toys.  Thanks Aunt Helen and Uncle Todd!
