"The Great Race"

Tonight we had AWANA, only Josh still had some tummy issues yesterday and didn't seem to be 100% today so we opted to let  him stay home with me and Addy.  Mike took Noah to Cubbies and helped out in Sparks (I'm just a floater so it's easier if I miss).  Well, it always runs a little later than our normal bedtime.  Addison and Josh went to bed on time at 8.  So Noah and Mike get home and Noah wants stories out in the living room, and he wants a "retend story" (or pretend story).  Mike has to tell the story, but Noah corrects him when he's telling it wrong.  The first story was about Noah running a race with Daddy, Noah was Batman and was racing against Superman, Spiderman and monsters.  The race was long and took 4 days, then there was a giant earthquake and everyone fell down.  But Noah, aka Batman and Daddy got up first and won.  They got to share a giant trophy and it was so big there was an ocean in it.  Hilarious =)  Now Noah is telling a story because he kept saying that Mike wasn't telling it right.  It is really great getting to hear what goes on his mind sometimes, earlier today he told me while we were driving that he was playing his video game with his friends Bob and Larry, the tomato and cucumber.  So just in case you were wondering what Noah was thinking about tonight, there's a sneak peek - which actually all started when they were talking about the story from Cubbies tonight when Jesus got lost at the temple...talk about getting off on a tangent, huh?
